There was lots to see and do at this year’s Festival including a ‘speed dating’ session for Surrey-based environmental organisations at which lots of ideas were shared and new partnerships were formed. Elmbridge Museum’s team delighted families with the ‘Inspired by Nature’ craft activities and our screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing has encouraged numbers of local people to start asking what they can do to help the climate crisis. Nature & Climate Festival
The Thames Ditton & Weston Green Nature & Climate Festival was set up in 2022 to encourage local residents to lead more sustainable lives. Over the years we’ve had inspirational speakers, built a solar panel, laughed at green comedy, relaxed to eco pop, dyed clothes with flowers, swapped pre-loved clothes, tested the water quality of the Thames, excercised in a green bootcamp and had a whale bath, to name just a few of the 100+ things we’ve done.
