For hard-to-recycle items
Located in Vital Village, our Recycling Station offers a local opportunity to recycle difficult items that don’t go in our blue top bins. We accept:
Coffee pods
Dental waste (plastic brushes, toothpaste tubes, floss etc)
Medicine blister packs (remove medicines first)
Foil pet food pouches
Disposable contact lenses, lens solution bottles etc
Foil-lined Pringles tubes

Take a bag and start recycling!
There are some recyclable items that our local council don’t collect because they are too difficult for the recycling plant. But bring them to us and we can get them recycled by Terracycle. Just take a bag (limited supply) fill it and bring it back when you’re done. It’s that simple.
